Omnifarious Family Offerings

The Sprouting Project
Enliven your senses with a tour of The Sprouting Project property - a true farm-to-table sanctuary, created by the Omni's own Chef Daven. Aromatic herbs and brightly colored vegetables make up the Sprouting Project's aquaponic greenhouse and organic garden. While touring, you can venture across the quiet brook to see the apiary, where around 3 million bees are busy making the honey that is used in each of the resort's restaurants. Now that's local! You're able to take some 'local' home with you by purchasing some of this fresh and pure honey at the resort.

Tours are available upon request. For more information such as exclusive dinners, and schedule information, click here.

Resort Shopping
Indulge at the The Shops of the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort. Dine at the many family friendly restaurants throughout the shopping area such as the Marche Burette deli and Natural Slice pizzeria. Delight in some 'me time' at the award winning Spa & Salon or shop unique merchants such as Queen Bee and Harrison's Mercantile. Explore the island on two wheels through Amelia's Wheels. They offer Segways and bike rentals, and even bike-riding lessons for those that need them.

Heron's Cove Adventure Golf
Want to experience a miniature version of the sport of golf? Play a round of mini golf at Heron's Cove Adventure Golf. The course is quaintly set under the shade of the beautiful live oaks and is close to all of the resort shops and restaurants. This is a perfect activity for your little "miniatures" who want to experience golf off of the championship courses.

Amelia Island Nature Center
The Amelia Island Nature Center is excellent for your little explorers. The center's Family Discovery Series includes Fishing 101, Crab Grab, Treasure Seekers, Shark Tooth Hunt and more. Before you leave, your children will be sure to build their very own Tanner the Turtle (resort mascot) doll at the Build-A-Turtle station. Pre-registration is required for all tours.
